You're a Gem! May 2021
Hello again!
I hope that you are enjoying the You're a Gem! Boxes. I had a ton of fun pulling these boxes together.
One of the items that I was the most excited about was the gemstone bath bombs by Whipped Up Wonderful! With a real gemstone insides, how could I resist? I simply couldn't pick just one so you can expect one of the following: Amethyst, Moonsparkle, Sodalite, or Rose Quartz. I highly recommend them all!
Making the Dark Crystals Sea Salts was a true labor of love. It's hard not to love that Dark Crystals scent with the soft and alluring mix of coconut milk, bergamot, black pepper, cinnamon leaf, jasmine, tonka bean, cypress, cedarwood, and musk. We make our bath salts with Dead Sea Salts which include essential minerals such as Magnesium, Bromide, Iodine, Potassium, Sulfur, Calcium, Sodium, Zinc and more. Adding Dead Sea Salts to your bath can help to soothe and cleanse the skin while relieving tired and sore muscles. For the last year or so, I've been adding Sea Salts to just about every bath I take.
Another absolute favorite of mine that was only featured in the Tubless You're a Gem! Box, was the You're a Gem candle by Valley Candles. They are just so pretty! The scent is an elegant blend of jasmine and dark fruits smoothed out by an amber and tonka base. Typically, we love including Valley Candles in the twist tins, but this time the glass votives were a lovely change for this box.
In both the Original Bath-focused box and the Tubless box, the You're a Gem Soap Bars reminded me of giant Starburst candies! The moisturizing oils in our soaps produce a rich luxurious lather that leaves your skin clean and soft without stripping it of its natural oils. With two different Gem Soap possibilities: Red - Citrus, Berry and Cherry or Purple - Grape, Peach and Pineapple
The Tubless box this month included a Whipped Soap Scrub in either Aventurine or Moonstone. Our light and fluffy whipped soap scrub is a luxurious exfoliating cleanser that will leave your skin feeling clean, soft and moisturized without any greasy or sticky feel.
For the Original Bath-focused box, we included both the Jade and Amethyst Bath Bombs as well as a Bubble Bath Jug in Moonstone, Aventurine, or Rose Quartz.
Another gem (pun intended!) in the Tubless box was the Rose Quartz Lotion. The Rose Quartz scent is a bright and citrusy twist on a traditional rose fragrance with notes of bergamot, orange, grapefruit, dried rose petals, jasmine, sandalwood, and musk. It's absolutely lovely and a favorite any time of year, but especially in the spring and summer months.
